Boys Varsity Basketball

This is Coach Harris’s first year at EDS. He is originally from North Augusta, SC. He is a graduate of North Augusta High, where I competed in football and track. He is a US NAVY veteran. He is a graduate of Augusta Technical College, Luther Rice Seminary College, and is a current student at Paine College. He is married with children. Coach Harris has been mentoring and coaching for over twenty years in football and basketball. He has coached at Aquinas High, Hephzibah High, and Spirit Creek Middle.  He currently coaches the  Augusta United Dream Chasers (College football program) and the Southern Kings organization for travel basketball.  He is the Founder/CEO of Augusta United Graduate Academy Inc., which is a non-profit organization and youth football/cheer program. He is a mentor of countless student-athletes to accomplish college degrees and professional status in basketball and football. The most important principles of life he wants to pass on to the student-athletes is the will power of being accountable, discipline, and the ability to work hard, for all goals we want to achieve in life.
