Biography:
Coaching at EDS since the winter of 2022.
Coach Cornell Harris is entering his fourth year at Episcopal Day School, where he currently serves as Head Coach for boys basketball and football at EDS. Originally from North Augusta, South Carolina, he is a proud graduate of North Augusta High School, where he competed in both football and track.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Coach Harris holds a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management and is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration (MBA). His passion for combining faith and athletics led him to serve as an Ambassador for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, where he works to inspire student-athletes both spiritually and athletically.
With over 20 years of coaching and mentoring experience, Coach Harris has impacted youth across the CSRA through football and basketball. His coaching background includes positions at Aquinas High School, Hephzibah High School, and Spirit Creek Middle School. He is also the Founder and CEO of Augusta United Graduate Academy Inc., a nonprofit organization focused on youth mentorship through sports and character development. Through this initiative, he leads the Augusta United Dream Chasers—the only college football program in the CSRA.
Coach Harris has helped numerous student-athletes pursue college degrees and advance to the professional athletic level. He previously served as the Head Basketball Coach for the Southern Kings travel basketball program, where he developed high-level talent from Georgia and beyond.
At the heart of his coaching philosophy are the values of accountability, discipline, and relentless effort. Coach Harris believes that with faith, focus, and hard work, anything is possible.

Biography:
Coaching at EDS since the fall of 2023 - Football and Boys Basketball
Coach Clinton Sherman brings over 35 years of experience in coaching and consulting across multiple counties, including Richmond, Columbia, Burke, and Aiken. He has worked extensively with both public and private school systems and has coached teams in local and state tournaments through the Youth Basketball of America (YBOA) and the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU).
Educated in the Richmond County School System, Coach Sherman is certified through numerous state and local athletic clinics, including the AAU. His passion for youth development and athletics is evident in his lifelong commitment to mentoring student-athletes and contributing to their growth both on and off the court.
Coach Sherman and his wife, Loretta, have dedicated their lives to investing in young people, helping shape a brighter future through sports, service, and community engagement.
