Latisha Perkins

Cross Country, Basketball, Track

Coach Perkins is a native Georgian.  She is from Atlanta where she attended Carver High School.  In high school, she lettered in cross country, basketball, softball, and track.  She is a small business owner. She has been coaching for many years and this will be her second at EDS.  Besides being a big Alabama fan, she loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking, rock climbing, OCR “Obstacle Course Races”, traveling to explore different cultures and running 5k’s.  

Biography:

This is Coach Cooks’ sixth year of coaching with EDS. He is a graduate of Delaware State University with a degree in Business and Marketing. He is married to Sara, a Philadelphia native, and they have three children. The Cooks family has proudly lived in Augusta for the past 14 years. His coaching philosophy is simple: Coach young people to love the game and work hard.  

Biography:

Grace Roberts '13 has been coaching at EDS since 2021. While part of the Panther Nation, she participated in volleyball and basketball.  As a Cavalier for Augusta Prep, she played volleyball all 4 years as well as cheerleading during her junior and senior years. Grace graduated from Augusta Prep in 2017 and currently attends Augusta University.  Grace was a lifer at EDS starting in the 3s and her mom is Lisa Roberts, an EDS preschool teacher.
