Biography:

Coach Gomez is in her first year at EDS. Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Dr. Gomez brings a love for the game through her passion for volleyball. She attended Taylorsville High School in Utah and later graduated from Brookline College and the University of Phoenix. Dr. Gomez played volleyball for three years in school and has three years of coaching experience on and off. She has coached volleyball and tennis, and this year she will be coaching JV Volleyball at EDS. In addition to her coaching career, Dr. Gomez is a skin specialist who specializes in acne. She is married to her best friend, is Latina, and has two kids, one of whom attends EDS. She also has five dogs and loves to be fun and outgoing. Dr. Gomez enjoys Mexican food, traveling, and meeting new people. The best thing about coaching for her is watching the kids grow.

Coach Carlson is from the great state of California.  She has played volleyball since 6th grade. While attending El Toro High School, she played both softball and volleyball. She went on to play college volleyball at the University Of Mount Olive.  She has been coaching year-round since 2014.
