Biography:
Joe Staton, new to Augusta by way of Fort Leavenworth, KS. He is from Pinetops, NC. This is in his first year at EDS. He played football and track & field growing up, and was on the track team at Voorhees College. He is a certified national USA Track coach as well as a certified strength and conditioning coach. His wife is a member of the Armed Forces and they have 3 children; Jaylen, Kaleb, and Lily. Coach Staton is very excited to be coaching our student-athletes.
Biography:
Coach Paige McNeil was born in Boston, Massachusetts but raised in Augusta, Ga. Coach McNeill attended Augusta Prep and was on the prep cross country team. She grew up participating in competitive figure skating. She has coached both cheerleading and cross country prior to joining the EDS staff as the Spanish and Leadership teacher. This is Coach McNeil’s second year coaching at EDS.

Biography:
Coach Kristen Weston is no stranger to the EDS community. She has been a teacher at EDS for 5 years, and a parent for more than 7. Originally from Michigan, she grew up playing soccer, swimming, and cheerleading. She attended Brenau Women's College. While this will be her first year coaching at EDS, she loves running and has participated in 12 half marathons and 1 full marathon.
